The first two weeks in year 5

We have enjoyed Literacy because it is fun and we get to learn new things every day.

We also liked Maths because the teachers make it easy if you don’t understand it. We like our new teacher because he does not shout at everyone.  We also liked PE it was really fun and cool and we have learnt how to throw and catch.

I have learnt to use the resources around us before going to the teacher like brain, book, board and buddy.

I have learnt how to bowl properly and put your arm in the right place at the right time.

I have learnt more French days like samedi for Saturday and lundi is Monday.

I think I’ve enjoyed year 5 so far and I’m looking forward to the rest of year 5.

In Mrs Cunningham’s Literacy group we have been learning about proper nouns and common nouns.

In Mr Ball’s Literacy group we have been learning about persuasive writing and how to write an article to persuade people.

I am enjoying year 5 so far. I am hoping to be at least Level 5 in Mrs Cunningham’s Numeracy. I’m also enjoying Literacy with Mr Ball. George

I’m really enjoying the first two weeks in Year 5.

I enjoyed sports day. I did 80m, Hurdles and 200m relay. I won a gold medal for Hurdles.

I liked science when we had to guess and describe! 

Bonjour!  I had an awesome time when we had are first French lesson with Mrs Cunningham.

I had a fun time exploring and researching facts about Sikhs.

And many many more wicked things.

Hi There I had an epic time in sports day, I did 80m, 200m relay and 400m and won 1 silver medal for the relay.

I had a wicked time in Numeracy.

We enjoyed the sports day because it was fun, and had lots of things to do and most of the parents came to watch us.

We like numeracy and literacy because it is challenging and fun.

Sports day was epic together we got six medals.

We enjoyed doing science and geography and the population quiz.
