Book Review

First of all, read the book, think about it and, if you can, talk about it to someone.
What is the story about? What type of story is it? What sort of characters did it have in it? Write a few sentences answering these questions.
Who do you think this book was written for? Was it a boy, a girl or both? What sort of age group. Give it a star rating - 1 for poor and 5 for GREAT!!!

  1. My favourite book is Princess and the Frog because it just is but my mum finds it interesting and I think it is a bit of both. It is about this little girl and growing older she is named Tania, and a prince named Na-vine. He meets a voodoo man and he got fooled and turned into a frog. After that he went to a ball of Tania's friend. Then Tania and the prince kissed and she transformed into a frog then she went back to the ball and she floated into the air by balloons and they popped and they fell into the forest and on their way back they met a alligator mean while they met a fire fly called Raymond but they call him Ray. They go to a voodoo woman and she asked them what did they want and they all except the fire fly wanted to be human but later on Ray died and went to his girl friend in fire fly heaven. Then at the end Tania and Na-vine got married. Then she finally got her dream and she lived happily ever after.

    Sapphire Battersea

The story is about a teenage girl called Hetty Feather. She grew up in a foundling hospital and now she is working for an old man called Mr Buchanan the children’s author.
Sapphire Battersea is a fiction story set in the late eighteen eighty six.
The characters were mainly foundlings and women from London.
This book was written for girls that are about 8-11 years old.
I would give this book 9 out of ten because it was really interesting but it was quite short.
