Children are expected to complete a minimum of 3 pieces over each half term (preferably from different subject areas). The Peri-ometer suggests the difficulty or challenge the homework may offer.
Children should attempt at least one ‘EXTRA HOT’ task!
It is hoped that children will enjoy picking their own level of challenge; this may motivate them to complete more than the minimum!
We would encourage you to work with your child as they produce their homework.
Some children may be given slightly different tasks to do - these will be discussed with the children by their English or Maths teacher.
Children have to complete at least 3 tasks by the end of half term (1st November) - do not leave them all until the holidays.
When a child has completed a task they should turn it in on Edmodo as Take-Away Assignment 1. The second task will Take-Away Assignment 2 and so on.
